These chicken wings are going to be on my menu once a month for sure as they are super easy to put together plus since they are baked it makes them less guilty to munch on these.

Can You Freeze Chicken Wings?

yes! freeze the baked chicken wings in a Ziploc bag upto a month.

When you need to have the chicken wings then previous night thaw them in refrigerator section and then bake again for 15 to 20 mins till they are cooked well and hot.

How Long Do You Bake Wings?


To get the perfect crispy baked chicken wings you need to bake them either at:
  • 400f for 30 to 35 mins 
  • 375f for 40 to 45 mins
  • 350f for 50 to 55 mins.

How To Make Homemade Baked Chicken Hot
Wings?

Step1: In a mixing bowl add flour and all the spices mentioned as shown in picure 1 and 2.

Step2: Dab the chicken wings with tissue paper to make them completely dry.
Roll the chicken pieces in the flour and spice mix,shake off excess flour.
Line the baking tray with parchment paper ,and arrange the wings on tray as shown in picture 3.

Step3:  Preheat the oven at 375f and bake the wings till crispy for 30mins and cooked well.Turn them once for even cooking in between.

Step4:  In a bowl add the ingredients for the wings sauce and let it come to a boil.


Let it cook for a while till the sauce thickens a little as shown in picture 4.


Step5:  Toss the chicken wings with half of the sauce and arrange on baking tray.

Bake the wings further till crispy  for another 8 to 10 mins as shown in picture 5.

Step6:  Finally pour the remaining sauce over the wings and toss well,serve.

Tips To Make Baked Honey Hot Wings

  • Make sure the chicken wings are completely dry before apply the flour and spice mix to them.

  • Shake off excess flour from the wings.
  • Make sure the flour coat is very thin.
  • Bake the chicken wings till they are crispy,keep turning them once or twice in between.
  • Once baked till crispy toss them with half of the sauce and bake again.
  • To adjust the spiciness and sweetness adjust Hot Sauce and Honey as per choice.
  • To get the sticky wings toss the wings finally in remaining half sauce and serve.
  • Thicken the sauce a little to get it to stick to the wings.

  • 20 Chicken Wings,with skin
  • For the flour-spice mix:
  • 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • For Wings Sauce:
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Frank's RedHot Sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Honey
  • 2 Cloves Garlic,grated

Instructions
